Pot-Art: 𝘪 𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧-𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘵
𝘪 𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧-𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘵 exhibits an image diffusion model powered by a large potato battery array. Here’s a little on how it works
\(^-^)/
The potato battery array generates electricity.
I read the voltage it produces (using an arduino) and feed the value to my computer.
My computer generates images of potatoes using a model I trained locally on both healthy & diseased potatoes (10,117 images, dataset is called PotatoCare).
When the voltage is at its max (day 1), the generated potatoes are as healthy as they can be.
Over the next two weeks, as the potatoes dry up, the voltage will begin to decline. As it does, the health of the generated potatoes will also decline.
Eventually, towards the end of the exhibition, the voltage will have drop substantially, so that the model is no longer able to generate healthy potatoes.
